With almost 4 decades of experience in property work, Atkinson Vinden has developed a large portfolio of property developer clients. The nature of projects we act on range in size from smaller developments (10-20 units), right through to projects involving hundreds of units.
A key component to our methodology is the setting up of strong channels of communication with our clients through the use of state-of-the-art real time summaries and well established protocols for the obtaining of instructions and negotiation of individual contracts.
It is a joy assisting clients through all stages of development, from the acquisition of land, obtaining development consents, working alongside those who promote the development, through to individual transactions including off the plan sales and settling with purchasers.
In the last two years we have also started acting for groups of homeowners who join together to sell their land to property developers. We have found that many homeowners have been able to create extraordinary value from their land by working together with their neighbours, for the benefit of everyone.
We also work with many of our retirement village clients in the development of new villages, and this includes providing all of the necessary legal support to go from a Greenfields site to a fully built and sold village.
A number of the most senior lawyers at our firm are involved in working with our property developer clients.
