Current Practice

Andrew is an experienced employment and industrial relations lawyer, with significant experience in the film, television, live performance and media industries. Until recently, Andrew was National Director of Actors’ Equity, the performer section of the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA) where he led national enterprise bargaining across many industries and enterprises, and negotiated theatre, film and television agreements on behalf of performers.

Andrew is also experienced in commercial law and litigation, having originally commenced practice in a boutique CBD insurance law firm, and then later working for a global law firm in Sydney.

Andrew is experienced in advising and acting for employers and employees.

Andrew can also assist clients with defamation and media matters, and general commercial litigation and disputes. Andrew’s focus is on the early resolution of clients’ disputes, in a timely and efficient manner.

Prior to becoming a lawyer Andrew worked as an actor.
